(Cleveland, OH) - In the American League Monday, Yan Gomes hit a 3-run homer in the tenth inning to give the Cleveland Indians a 10-8 win over the Seattle Marines at Progressive Field.
Gomes hit his second home run of-the-game in the tenth on a 3-2 pitch from Seattle reliever Charlie Furbush.
Cleveland has won five straight games and completed the team's first four-game sweep of Seattle since 1981.
The Indians are 26-17 and host the Detroit Tigers tonight at 7:05.
