Indians Knock Off Reds Behind Kazmir's Strong Outing

(Cleveland, OH) - Scott Kazmir threw seven strong innings as the Cleveland Indians scored seven times in the fourth inning to beat the Cincinnati Reds 7-1.

Kazmir allowed a run on eight hits to improve to 3-2.

Michael Bourn hit a two-run double, Ryan Raburn and Asdrubal Cabrera had RBI doubles and Michael Brantley, Yon Gomes and Jason Kipnis added run-scoring singles in Cleveland's big inning.

Homer Bailey allowed all seven Indians runs, giving up seven hits in three and two-thirds innings of work to drop to 3-4.

Jay Bruce drove in the lone Cincinnati run with an eighth-inning single.
