Indians Complete Sweep Of Indians

(Cleveland, OH) - In the American League Thursday, the Cleveland Indians completed a four-game sweep of the Oakland A’s with a 9-2 win at Progressive Field in Cleveland.

Mark Reynolds homered for the eleventh time this season, the most home runs in the American League, and Scott Kazmir improved to 2-1 after pitching six-innings and striking out ten.

Reynolds home run was the third by the Indians on the afternoon, a two-run shot in the fifth-inning that made it 9-0.

The Indians are 18-14, have won nine of their last ten games, and open a weekend series tonight against the Detroit Tigers.
