(Sao Paola, Brazil) - In the IZOD Indycar Series Sunday, James Hinchcliffe passed Takuma Sato on the last corner of the last lap to win the Sao Paolo Indy 300 at Sao Paolo, Brazil.

Sato was not penalized after he seemingly attempted to block Hinchcliffe before the pass and finished second to retain his lead in the points standings.

Will Power had won the three previous races at the 11-turn, 2.5 mile street course but finished 24th after his car caught on fire on lap 19.

Marco Andretti came in third, Oriol Servia fourth, and Josef Newgarden fifth.

Andretti is second in points, Helio Castroneves is third, Hinchcliffe fourth, and Scott Dixon fifth.

Saturday is the opening day of practice for the Indianapolis 500 and the race is May 26th.
