Last updated on Monday, May 27, 2013

(Indianapolis, IN) - The Miami Heat spoiled a “Pacers and Racers” Sunday in Indianapolis by routing the Indiana Pacers in game-three of the Eastern Conference Finals, 114-to-96 at Bankers’ Life Fieldhouse.

The Heat were surgical on offense in producing 70-points before the break, the most points scored in a half in franchise history, in subduing a blue-and-white shirted checkered flag crowd at the Fieldhouse.

Just hours earlier, Tony Kanaan endured a record number of lead changes to win the fastest Indianapolis 500 in track history.

Lebron James outdueled Paul George in the game-three matchup between the two stars, leading all scorers with 22-points

George went 3-of-10 from the field and finished with 13-points and five-turnovers. Roy Hibbert had 20-points and 17-rebounds and David West led the Pacers with 21-points.

Miami forward Udonis Haslam shot 8-of-9 from the field and contributed to a 54-percent team shooting effort against the best defense in points allowed in the Eastern Conference.

George Hill made all three, 3-point attempts in finishing with 19-points for Indiana.

Miami has a 2-to-1 lead in the best-of-seven series after handing the Pacers their first home loss in the playoffs this season. Game four is Tuesday night in Indianapolis. Tipoff is at 8:30.
