Last updated on Thursday, May 9, 2013

(Cleveland, OH) - In the American League Wednesday, A game tying home run by the Oakland A’s was ruled a double and the Cleveland Indians held on to win 4-3 at Progressive Field.

Adam Rosales hit a drive with two-outs in the ninth inning that seemed to clear the left field wall by several feet and clang off a metal railing.

The second base umpire called it a ground rule double and his decision was later upheld after a video review.

Nick Swisher tied the game at 3-3 with a solo home run in the sixth inning and Carlos Santana homered two-batters later to give the Indians a one-run lead.

The Indians are 17-14 and wrap-up their series against Oakland this afternoon at 12:05.
