Last updated on Monday, May 27, 2013

(Los Angeles, CA) - The St. Louis Cardinals manufactured enough runs against one of the best pitchers in baseball in defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-to-3 at Dodger Stadium.

Pete Kozma hit a three-run double in the second-inning off of Dodgers' starter Clayton Kershaw, who has the lowest ERA in the major leagues.

The Cardinals have the best record in baseball at 32-and-17 and begin an interleague series today against their in-state rivals, the Kansas City Royals. First pitch from Kauffman stadium is at 2:10.
