(Indianapolis, IN) The Corvette Stingray will pace the field when the 97th Indianapolis 500 commences on May 26th.
The 2014 model will be painted Laguna Blue Tintcoat and will vary from the car sold to the public through safety features only.
It's the twelfth time a Corvette has been selected as the official pace car for the 500 mile race on the historic two and-a-half mile oval.
The driver will be determined later this month.
