Willingham's Clutch Hit Leads Twins Past White Sox

Last updated on Monday, April 22, 2013

(undated) - In the American League Sunday, Josh Willingham hit a tie breaking, 3 run double in the seventh inning to lead the Minnesota Twins over the Chicago White Sox, 5-3 at US Cellular Field in Chicago.

Willingham's hit came with 2-outs in the seventh-inning and off of Chicago's Jesse Crain first pitch, who had just relieved Donnie Veal for issuing a four-pitch walk.

The White Sox are 7-11 and begin a 3 game series against the Cleveland Indians tonight.
