(Cincinnati, OH) - Joey Votto drove in the game winning run in the bottom of-the-ninth inning to give the Cincinnati Reds a 5-4 win over the visiting Los Angeles Angels.

Brandon Phillips took a 1-2 pitch from C-J Wilson over the left field wall in the fourth-inning to give the Reds a 3-0.

Jay Bruce doubled after the 3-run shot from Phillips and later scored on an RBI single from Todd Fraizer to make it 4-to-nothing.

Howard Kendrick and Alberto Callaspo each homered for the Angels, and Mark Trumbo drove-in the game tying run in the eighth-inning on a fielder's choice to short-stop.

Mat Latos struck out eight and allowed 3-runs in six and two-thirds innings pitched.

Aroldis Chapman came on for a scoreless ninth to pick up the win.

The Angels and Reds finish their 3-game set at Great American Ballpark today.
