Pitching Errors Lead Cubs To Loss Against Giants

(Chicago, IL) In the National League Sunday, the San Francisco Giants received plenty of help from the Chicago Cubs pitching staff in a 10-7 win over the Cubs at Wrigley Field.

Edwin Jackson and Michael Bowden tied a major league record for most wild pitches in an inning with five and Shawn Camp was later called for a balk in the 10th-inning for the Giants' go head run.

The wild pitches came during San Francisco's game tying 4 run, sixth-inning, Jackson and Camp were each charged with 4 runs for the Cubs.

Starlin Castro had 3 hits and a home run in the first inning.

Pence finished with 3 hits and 2-runs scored for the Giants.

Chicago is 4-8 on the year and break until Tuesday when they open a 3 game series at Wrigley against the Texas Rangers.
