Nationals Stay Perfect At Home With Win Over White Sox

(Washington, DC) - In Major League Baseball Wednesday, the Washington Nationals stayed perfect at home with a 5-2 win over the Chicago White Sox at Nationals Park in the nation’s capital.

Ian Desmond had a triple and 2 doubles and Bryce Harper hit a home run in leading the Nationals to a 5-0 home record.

Indianapolis native Drew Storen pitched the eighth inning for the Nationals after Ryan Zimmerman held Chicago to 2-runs over 7-innings pitched for the win.

The Southsiders are 4-4 on the season and could be swept tonight when the teams play their final game of the interleague series.

First pitch is at 7:05.
