NASCAR Goes Short Track Racing This Weekend

(UNDATED) - NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series returns after a weekend off to race on the half-mile oval at Martinsville Speedway.

Kyle Busch is sixth in points following his win at Fontana on March 24th.

Dale Earnhardt Junior leads in the points standings and is trailed by Brad Keselowski in second and Jimmie Johnson in third.

Indiana's Ryan Newman won the STP Gas Booster 500 at Martinsville last season and is currently 20th in points on the Sprint Cup table.

Jeff Gordon is 18th in points and Tony Stewart is 22nd.

Qualifying is tonight and race begins Sunday at 1:00.
