NASCAR Goes Night Racing In Texas This Weekend

(Fort Worth, TX) - NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series will run the NRA 500 this Saturday night at Texas Motor Speedway.

Jimmie Johnson finished second at Texas last season, just behind Greg Biffle and his record setting performance at the 1.5 mile oval.

Johnson is currently the points leader after notching wins at Martinsville last weekend and the season starting Dayton 500.

Brad Keselowski is the series defending champion and is currently second in points with four, top 5 finishes.

Dale Earnhardt Jr slipped to third in points after finishing two laps down in 24th place at Martinsville, and Kasey Kahne is fifth in points after winning the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Qualifying is this evening and the race is Saturday night at 7:30.
