George's Triple Double Pushes Pacers To Game One Victory

(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indiana Pacers took a 1-0 lead in their first round series of the Eastern Conference playoffs by beating the Atlanta Hawks, 107-90 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Paul George had a triple double with 23 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists.

The 22-year old All-Star went 3-13 from the field, but was the top scorer on the day by hitting his first 17 free throw attempts.

George Hill fought through a nagging groin muscle injury to score 18 points and Roy Hibbert finished with 16-points and 8-rebounds for the Pacers.

The Pacers and Hawks resume their best of seven series Wednesday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Tipoff is at 7:30.
