Flowers Powers White Sox Past Blue Jays

(Toronto, Ontario) - In the American League Wednesday, Todd Flowers hit a 3 run homer and Jose Quintana combined with two relievers to help the Chicago White Sox shutout the Toronto Blue Jays, 7-0 at Rogers Centre in Toronto.

Quintana lasted six and-two-thirds innings and gave up five hits while striking out seven. Paul Konerko extended his hitting streak to nine games with double to lead off the fourth inning.

The White Sox are 7-8 and conclude their four game series against the Blue Jays tonight at 7:07.
