Dunn's Long Ball And Sale's Pitching Lead White Sox to Win

(Chicago, IL) - In the American League Thursday, Adam Dunn hit a 2-run homer and Chris Sale won for the first time since opening day in the Chicago White Sox 5-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays at US Cellular Field.

Dunn's home run marked his second hit in 10-games in giving the White Sox a 5-2 lead in the sixth inning.

Sale held Tampa Bay to a pair of runs in seven innings pitched to up his record to 2-2. Addison Reed pitched the ninth-inning for his seventh save of the year.

Jeff Keppinger had two hits for the third straight game, including an RBI double in the first the pulled the White sox even at 1-1.

The Southsiders are 9-12 and play the Rays at 8:10 tonight.
