(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts have signed rookie free agent linebacker, Josh McNary, and placed him on the team’s reserve/military list.
McNary is an Army lieutenant and can join the Colts on May 21st when his two-year active service commitment ends.
The six-foot, 251 pound defensive end/linebacker is the Army Black Knight's all-time sack leader and scored on a fumble return against Southern Methodist in December of 2010, the last time he played in a game.
McNary's mandatory service as a graduate of West Point prevented him from being drafted in 2011.
