Cano Homers Twice To Lead Yankees Past Indians

(undated) - Robinson Cano homered twice in leading the New York Yankees over the Cleveland Indians 11-6 at Progressive Field in Cleveland.

Cano tagged Ubaldo Jimenez in the fifth inning to give the Yankees a 6-3 lead, then hit another solo shot off the Indians' starter in the sixth inning for an 8-3 advantage.

Travis Hafner, a 10-season veteran with the Indians, returned in a Yankees uniform to hit a 3 run home run in the first inning and later hit an RBI single in the third.

Cleveland is last in the AL Central after losing their home opener Monday.

The series resumes tonight at 7:05.
