Cabrera's Late Hit Leads Indians Past White Sox

Last updated on Tuesday, April 23, 2013

(Chicago, IL) - In the American League Monday, Asdrubal Cabrera returned to the Cleveland Indians lineup to deliver a go ahead single in the eighth inning and give his team a 3-2 win over the Chicago White Sox at US Cellular Field.

Cabrera missed the series finale against the Astros Sunday after falling down the stairs and spraining his wrist the day before.

The All-Star shortstop returned last night and hit a two out single to centerfield, driving in Drew Stubbs and Michael Brantley for a 3-2 lead.
