Last updated on Friday, March 29, 2013

(Dallas, TX) - The Indiana Pacers surged in the second half to put away the Dallas Mavericks, 103-78, at American Airlines Center in Dallas.

Paul George fueled a 20-5 scoring run to start the third quarter and finished with 24-points in the Pacers' second straight win of their four game road trip.

David West returned to the starting lineup to net 7 points and 7 rebounds after missing the last six-games with a lower back sprain.

Dirk Nowitzki had 21 points and former Pacer, Darren Collison, scored 10 points for Dallas, who trail the Los Angeles Lakers by a game and-a-half for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Indiana lead the New York Knicks by a half game in the race for the second best record in the Eastern Conference at 46-27.

They play Saturday at the Phoenix Suns and finish their trip out West Monday against the Los Angeles Clippers.
