(Sioux Falls, SD) - The IPFW Mastodons advanced to the Summit League Tournament semi-finals by beating the Oakland Golden Grizzlies, 91-72 at Sioux Falls Arena in Sioux City, South Dakota.
The Mastodons shot 63 percent from the field and out-rebounded the Golden Grizzlies 44 to 26.
Frank Gaines led all scorers with 23 points and Luis Jacobo made 4 of 5, 3-point attempts in finishing 18 points for IPFW.
The Mastodons will play the South Dakota State Jackrabbits tonight.
Tipoff is at 7:00.
