Hibbert Leads Pacers Rout Of Timberwolves

(Indianapolis, IN) Roy Hibbert scored a season high 27 points during the Indiana Pacers 107-91 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves at Bankers Life Fieldhouse Wednesday night.

Hibbert also had 12 rebounds, nine on the offensive glass, and four blocks in dominating a Minnesota team that was shorthanded in the paint.

David West added 13 points and 10 rebounds and George Hill scored 16 points on the night.

The Timberwolves slip to 22-40 on the season and play Friday night at the Houston Rockets.

The Pacers are 40-24 and have a one game lead on the New York Knicks for the second best record in the East.

The Miami Heat have a nine and-a-half game lead on Indiana for first in the conference after Wendnesday's 98-94 win over the Philadelphia 76rs.

The Heat became the fourth team in the history of the NBA to win 20 straight games in a season with the victory.

The Pacers play at home Friday against Los Angeles Lakers.
