Colts Have Cap Space For Free Agent Signings

Last updated on Tuesday, March 12, 2013

(Indianapolis, IN) - Indianapolis Colts General Manager, Ryan Grigson, will have nearly 46 million dollars in salary cap room to help bolster the 53-man roster when the N-F-L free agency period begins this afternoon.

The Colts have several holes to fill on both offense and defense, including a potential vacancy at the already thin cornerback position.

Jerraud Powers could be moving on to another team after spending his entire four year professional career as a starting corner in Indianapolis.

Powers' contract will expire today, allowing the former third round pick to test the open market.

Teams are not allowed to sign or trade players until the new league year begins at 4:00 this afternoon.
