Last updated on Thursday, March 21, 2013

(Dayton, OH) - The Butler Bulldogs return to the NCAA Tournament following a one year hiatus to play the 11th-seeded Bucknell Bison today at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky.

Butler followed two straight appearances in the national title game with a rebuilding year and a demotion to the CBI last season.

Butler are seeded-sixth in the East Region after losing to the St. Louis Billikins in the A-10 Tournament Semi-Finals last weekend.

The Bison have won seven straight and defeated the Lafayette Leopards to win the Patriot League Tournament and receive an automatic bid to the NCAA.

Tipoff this afternoon in Lexington is at 12:40.

The winner advances to play either third-seeded Marquette or 14th-seeded Davidson in the regional quarterfinals.
