(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indiana Pacers lost their second straight game at home Monday night, an 89-84 defeat in overtime to the Brooklyn Nets at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The Pacers starting front line of Paul George, David West, and Roy Hibbert struggled to make a basket in combining for 8 of 39 shooting and 24 points on the night.
Brooklyn were playing without their most versatile scorer, Deron Williams, who is expected to return after the all-star break after being diagnosed with inflammation of the ankle joint linings.
The Nets shot 38 percent from the field without Williams, but received a 25 point, eight rebound effort from center Brook Lopez.
Johnson finished with 17 points and Gerald Wallace had 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Nets.
George Hill led the Pacers with 22 points but also struggled to find his shooting touch by going 1-7 behind the 3-point line.
Hibbert had 12 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocked shots on the night.
Indiana slip to 31-21 and play their second of a four game home stand Wednesday against the Charlotte Bobcats.
