Hoosiers Fall To 2nd In Latest Coaches Poll

Last updated on Tuesday, February 12, 2013

(UNDATED) - The Indiana Hoosiers slipped to number-two in the USA Today Coaches poll after losing to the Illinois Fighting Illini last Thursday.

The Hoosiers recovered to win comfortably at number-10 Ohio State Sunday, which impressed voters in one college basketball poll but not the USA Today Coaches.

The Duke Blue Devils are the new number one team, followed by Indiana, the Gonzaga Bulldogs, the Miami Hurricanes, and the Michigan Wolverines.

The Butler Bulldogs climbed four spots to number-ten after winning their last three contests.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish returned to the top 25 rankings after Saturday's five overtime win over the number 12 Louisville Cardinals at the Joyce Center.

The Fighting Irish are ranked number 21 after splitting last week's games, including a sixteen point trouncing at the Syracuse Orange.
