Hoosiers Attempt To Keep Winning Streak Alive Tonight

Last updated on Tuesday, February 26, 2013

(Minneapolis, IN) - The number-one Indiana Hoosiers are rounding the corner into March on a five game winning streak and can sweep the season series against the Minnesota Golden Gophers at Williams Arena in Minneapolis.

The teams have gone in opposite directions since Indiana beat Minnesota at Assembly Hall last month, with the Hoosiers outclassing the Big Ten's elite and the Golden Gophers slipping to the middle of the pack in the conference.

Minnesota had lost one game entering an 88-81 defeat to the Hoosiers on January 12th, but have gone 4-7 in conference play since then.

Indiana have won five straight games to notch a conference best 12-2 record and hold a game and a half lead over the second place Michigan State Spartans.

Tipoff in Minneapolis tonight is at 7:00.
