(Indianapolis, IN) - Indiana Pacers starting center Roy Hibbert has been suspended for one game by the NBA for his involvement in Tuesday's on-court skirmish with the Golden State Warriors.

Hibbert has been suspended without pay and will miss tonight's showdown against the Los Angeles Clippers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Tuesday's conflict started with over six minutes left in the game when Hibbert and David Lee of Golden State exchanged pushes under the visitors' basket.

Players from both teams came to the defense of their teammates and the melee soon tumbled into the first row of Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Lee served a one game suspension during the Warriors' 109-105 loss to the New York Knicks Wednesday night.

The league also fined Pacers' guard Lance Stephenson and Golden State guards Stephan Curry and Klay Thomspon thirty-five thousand dollars each for "escalating the altercation".

The Pacers host the Clippers tonight, who are 41-18, third best in the Western Conference, and beat the Charlotte Bobcats Tuesday 106-84 at Staples Center.

The Pacers are 36-21, second best in the East, and defeated the Warriors 108-97 Tuesday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Tipoff tonight is at 7:00.
