(Terre Haute, IN) - The Drake Bulldogs completed the season sweep of the Indiana State Sycamores with a 67-56 win at Hulman Center in Terre Haute.
Drake closed out the first half on an 11-0 run in grabbing a six point lead at the break.
They led by 15 points with two and-a-half minutes left in the game in sending Indiana State to their fourth loss in five games.
Richard Carter had 15 points to lead all scorers for the Bulldogs.
Jake Odum had 13 points for the Sycamores and R-J Mahurin scored 12 points for ISU.
Drake is 14-15 overall, 7-10 in the Missouri Valley Conference, and play at home Saturday against the Southern Illinois Salukis.
Indiana State is 17-12 overall, 9-8 in the MVC, and finish the regular season Saturday evening at the Evansville Aces
