Pacers Return Home After Tough Road Trip

Last updated on Friday, January 18, 2013

(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indiana Pacers return to Indianapolis tonight to play the Houston Rockets following a laborious three game road trip that concluded with a 97-86 loss to the Orlando Magic Wednesday night.

The Pacers lost two games on their latest road swing and have dropped four of their last five contests away from Indy, but have risen to third place in the Eastern Conference by going 15-3 at home and stringing together 11 consecutive victories at the fieldhouse.

Houston have a 21-and-19 record and have lost five straight games in netting the eighth best record in the Western Conference.

James Harden signed a five year extension with Houston in October after the reigning NBA "Sixth Man of the Year" was traded from Oklahoma City following a contract dispute.

Harden is averaging 26 points-per-game but has struggled behind the 3-point line since late December.

Paul George is leading the team in scoring with a 17 point average and has begun to flourish at small forward while Danny Granger recovers from Patellar Tendinitis in the knee.

The Rockets and Pacers tipoff from Bankers Life Fieldhouse at 7:00.
