(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indiana Pacers have awarded Head Coach Frank Vogel with a contract extension after leading the blue-and-gold to the playoffs the last two season.
Team President Donnie Walsh made the announcement yesterday in a written statement but provided no details on the terms of the extension.
Vogel took over as interim head coach after the Pacers fired Jim O'Brien during the 2010-2011season.
He led the Pacers back to the playoffs and was officially named head coach after losing to the Chicago Bulls in the opening round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
