(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indiana Pacers made it nine straight wins at home after beating the shorthanded New York Knicks 81-76 last night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Paul George contributed seven points to a crucial 13-0 run at the start the fourth quarter that helped Indiana pull away from their conference rivals.

George finished with 24 points and 11 rebounds after scoring 29 and 11 against the Miami Heat on Tuesday night.

New York struggled to find any offensive rhythm without Carmelo Anthony, the team's top scorer at 29 points per game.

Anthony was suspended by the league for one game after an off court incident Monday night with Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics.

The Knicks have a game and-a-half game lead over the Pacers for the second best record in the Eastern Conference at 23-12 and host the Chicago Bulls tonight at Madison Square Garden.

The Pacers are 22-14 and host the Charlotte Bobcats tomorrow night.
