Jaguars Drop Fourth Straight Game

(Ralston, NE) -The IUPUI Jaguars lost their fourth straight game, a 90-79 defeat to the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks at Ralston Sports and Event Center in Ralston, Nebraska.

The Jaguars pulled within three with just over a minute to play in the second half, but the Mavericks countered with an 8-0 run to end the game and seal the win for the Summit League newcomers.

Donovan Gibbs had a career high 22 points and 10 rebounds and Sean Esposito scored 20 points for the Jaguars.

John Karhoff led the Mavericks on a 62 percent shooting barrage with a team high 20 points and C-J Carter added 19 points in the win.

IUPUI falls to 6-14 overall, 1-5 in the Summit league, and play the North Dakota State Bison Thursday in Indianapolis.
