(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indiana Pacers played suffocating team defense and Paul George broke out of a shooting slump during an 87-77 win over the Miami Heat at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The Pacers held Miami to their lowest point total of the season and limited the NBA's best team in field goal percentage to 35 points in the second half.

George broke out of an 8-29 shooting slump to drain 29 points against the defending champs and further cemented himself as the team's top scoring option until Danny Granger returns from a knee injury next month.

Dwayne Wade scored 30 points for Miami and Lebron James added 22 points and 10 rebounds.

The Heat maintain the best record in the Eastern Conference at 23-10 and visit the Portland Trailblazers Thursday night.

Indiana are 21-14 on the year and have won eight straight games at home.

They host the New York Knicks tomorrow night at the Fieldhouse with an 8:00 tip.
