(Baltimore, MD) - Indianapolis Colts Offensive Coordinator, Bruce Arians, was hospitalized yesterday for an undisclosed illness and was prohibited by doctors to call plays for the team's 24-9 playoff loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Arians became dizzy early Sunday morning and was admitted to University of Maryland Shock Center to undergo a series of tests.

Arians said he felt better and wanted to coach in the game, but yielded his play calling duties to quarterbacks coach Clyde Christensen after doctors admitted him for an overnight stay.

The former Interim Head Coach for the team is said to be doing well and could have an inner ear infection or a virus.

Arians went 9-3 in relief of head coach Chuck Pagano, who missed the majority of the regular season to battle Leukemia.
