(Baltimore, MD) - The Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens meet in the AFC Wildcard round Sunday and have acknowledged several present and historical narratives in leading up to their playoff match up.

Head Coach Chuck Pagano returned last weekend to inspire the Colts to a 28-16 victory over the Houston Texans after a 12 game leave-of-absence in treating Leukemia.

Pagano spent four seasons with the Ravens before getting his first professional head coaching job with the Colts and coordinated Baltimore's defense in 2011.

Pagano has admitted that his experience with the Raven's defense should be advantageous for the Colts heading into Sunday's game at M & T Bank Stadium.

Future Hall-of-Fame linebacker, Ray Lewis, announced his retirement this week and said the current playoff run would be his last in the N-F-L.

Lewis has been the spiritual leader for the Ravens during his 17 year career in the league. His declaration should motivate a Ravens squad that pulled out a division title despite losing four of their last five games.

Jim Caldwell was hired to mentor Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco after being let go from his head coaching job with Indianapolis following last year's disastrous two win season.

Caldwell was promoted to offensive coordinator after the team dismissed former Indiana Hoosier football coach, Cam Cameron, from the position.

The issue of the Colts relocation from Baltimore to Indianapolis in 1984 is still remembered by several generations of Baltimore football fans, even though the city has a Super Bowl title with the Ravens dating back to the 2000 season.

The Ravens are 10-6 and lost their regular season finale to the Cincinnati Bengals, 23-17 at Paul Brown Stadium.

The Colts are 11-5 and won five of their last six games in making the playoffs as the five seed.

Kickoff Sunday in Baltimore at 1:00.
