Butler's Clark To Miss At Least Two Games With Neck Injury

Last updated on Tuesday, January 15, 2013

(Indianapolis, IN) - The Butler Bulldogs are ranked thirteenth in the latest USA Today Coaches Poll after beating the Dayton Flyers Saturday for their eleventh consecutive win.

Butler's top scorer, Rotnei Clark, suffered a neck injury against Dayton and will miss at least the next two games.

An MRI Saturday revealed no fracture to his neck after the Arkansas transfer was fouled on a layup attempt and crashed into the basket support.

Clark remained on the ground for eight minutes and was removed from the court on a stretcher.

Butler plays their next two contests at Hinkle Fieldhouse, tomorrow against the Richmond Spiders and Saturday in a nationally televised broadcast against the number-eight Gonzaga Bulldogs.
