(Oakland, MI) - The Oakland Golden Grizzlies had no trouble dispatching the IUPUI Jaguars in a comfortable 89-71 win at Athletics Center Orena in Oakland, Michigan.
Travis Bader set a school record by making 11, 3-point attempts and scored a career high 47 points for Oakland.
Bader, the nation's leader in 3-pointers, finished 11-18 behind the arc and helped steer the Golden Grizzlies to a 55 percent shooting effort from the field.
Sean Esposito led the Jaguars with 21 points and Donovan Gibbs added 15 points for IUPUI.
Oakland is 9-13 overall, 4-4 in the Summit League and host Western Illinois Saturday.
The Jaguars are 6-17 overall, 1-8 in the Summit League, and play the IPFW Mastodons Saturday.
