(Houston, TX) - The Houston Texans clinched a second straight AFC South Title with a 29-17 win over the mistake-prone Indianapolis Colts Sunday at Reliant Stadium.
JJ Watt tormented Andrew Luck the entire afternoon and recorded three sacks to increase his NFL leading total to 19.5.
Watt also had ten tackles and a forced fumble against Indianapolis, who need a win in their last two games to clinch a playoff birth in the AFC wildcard round.
Andrew Luck finished with 186 yards passing, two touchdowns, and no interceptions but was held below fifty percent passing for the third straight week.
Vick Ballard carried the ball 18 times for 105 yards and a rushing average just below six yards-per-carry.
Arian Foster had 165 yards on the ground for the Texans and Andre Johnson was just as devastating through the air with 151 yards receiving.
The Texans increased their record to 12-2 and are in position to clinch home field advantage throughout the playoffs with the best record in the AFC.
The Colts fall to 9-5 and have a one game lead on the Cincinnati Bengals for the top wildcard spot.
Houston plays the 8-6 Minnesota Vikings at home next weekend and the Colts travel to the 2-12 Kansas City Chiefs.
