Reds, Indians And Diamondbacks Complete Three Team Trade

(Cincinnati, OH) - The Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Indians finalized a three-team trade that sent Indian’s outfielder Shin Soo-Choo to the Reds and a coveted pitching prospect to the Indians.

The nine player deal included the Indians landing the number three pick in the 2011 draft, Trevor Bauer, from the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Indians also picked-up Reds center fielder Drew Stubbs and relievers Matt Albers and Bryan Shaw from Arizona.

The Reds snagged infielder Jason Donald and three and a half million dollars in cash from Cleveland while picking up a new center fielder and lead off hitter in Choo.

The Diamondbacks added reliever Tony Sipp and first baseman Lars Anderson from Cleveland and acquired short-stop prospect Didi Gregorious from Cincinnati.
