(Indianapolis, IN) The defensive-minded Indiana Pacers go for two in a row tonight when the Philadelphia 76rs visit Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The Pacers made history Wednesday during a 96-win over the Cleveland Cavaliers by allowing just 23 points in the second half, the fewest amount of points allowed by the franchise in a half since the N-B-A merger in 1976.
The win ended a two game skid for the Pacers and leveled the team's record at 11-and-11.
Indiana are second in the league in points allowed and first in rebounds-per-game, but rank toward the bottom of the league in offensive scoring.
Paul George has begun developing into the scoring threat the Pacers had hoped for when they picked him tenth overall in the 2010 draft.
George has helped alleviate the absence of perennial scoring leader Danny Granger by averaging over 24 points in his last four games.
The 76rs are 12-10 on the year and are coming off a 96-89 loss to the Chicago Bulls Wednesday Night.
Jrue Holiday leads Philadelphia in scoring and netted 26 and 25 points in his last two games.
Holiday may not see the court against the Pacers with a sprained left foot and is listed as a game time decision.
Tipoff from the Fieldhouse between Indiana and Philadelphia tonight is at 7:00.
