Last updated on Thursday, December 20, 2012

(South Bend, IN) - The 22nd ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish pulled away in the second half to complete an 85-57 win over the Kennesaw State Owls in South Bend.

Jack Cooley had his fifth double-double in seven games with 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Jerian Grant also had 14 points for the Fighting Irish but had to leave the game after colliding with a Kennesaw State player late in the second half.

Coach Mike Brey called Grant's availability in Friday's home contest against the Niagra Purple Eagles "very questionable."

The Fighting Irish are 11-1 on the season and play their last game in 2012 Friday Night before opening their Big East Conference schedule against the Seton Hall Pirates January 5th.
