(undated) - Rotnei Clark and Kellen Dunham helped pace the Butler Bulldogs to an 87-55 win over the IUPUI Jaguars.
Clark and Dunham combined to make 8 of 11, 3-pointers against their crosstown rival and finished with 17 points each for Butler, who controlled the game with a 35-8 run to open the first half.
Donovan Gibbs and Mitchell Patton led the Jaguars with 10 points each. Butler are 6-and-2 on the season and play at the Northwestern Wildcats Saturday.
IUPUI fall to 3-and-7 and travel to the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers Saturday afternoon.
The Evansville Aces remained perfect at home after routing the Miami-of-Ohio Redhawks, 94-to-68 at the Ford Center.
The Aces made 14-of-18, 3-point attempts and shot 63 percent from-the-field overall. Colts Ryan led all scorers with 18 points and Ned Cox added 15 for Evansville, who upped their record to 5-3 and host the Murray State Racers Saturday.
The Valparaiso Crusaders pulled away in the second half to beat the IPFW Mastodons 63-52 at The Arc.
Valpo expanded on a three point lead at the break with a 10-2 run in the second half that was keyed by Ryan Broekoff's six straight points. IPFW was 4-20 from the field in the second half and made just 31 percent of their shots overall.
Broekoff led all scorers with 21 points for the Crusaders and Frank Gaines had 19 points for the Mastodons.
Valparaiso is 6-2 and travel to the 18th-ranked New Mexico Lobos Saturday night. IPFW is 5-5 and play at the Drake Bulldogs Saturday.
The Ball State Cardinals snapped a four game losing streak with a 76-57 win over the Holy Cross Saints at John E. Worthen Arena in Muncie.
Majok Majok had 18 points for the Cardinals and dominated the boards with 17 rebounds.
Marcus Posley had 14 points and five assits and Jauwan Scaife added 11 points for the Cardinals, who are 3-4 on the season and host the South Dakota Coyotes Saturday.
