Tar Heels Leading Scorer Will Miss Tonight's Game With Hoosiers

Last updated on Tuesday, November 27, 2012

(Bloomington, IN) - The thirteenth ranked North Carolina Tar Heels are without one of their best players tonight when they visit number-one Indiana at Assembly Hall.

P.J. Hariston Jr. suffered a mild knee sprain during a practice Sunday and will not make the trip to Bloomington for tonight's Big Ten-ACC Challenge opener.

Hairston is the team's third leading scorer, averaging ten points-per-game while shooting 35 percent behind the 3-point arc this season.

The 5-1 Tar Heels are coming off a 112-70 win over the Chamanade University Silverswords in Maui Invitational consolation game.

Indiana is 6-0 and defeated the Ball State Cardinals Sunday, 101-53. Tipoff at Assembly Hall is at 9:30.
