Smooth Shooting Irish Blowout Chicago State

(South Bend, IN) - The Notre Dame Fighting Irish won their fourth straight game by beating the Chicago State Cougars 92-65 at the Joyce Center.

The Fighting Irish made 10-16 3-point attempts in the first half in route to a 19 point halftime lead and led by as many as 34 late in the second.

Jerian Grant led all scorers with 22 points and ten rebounds for Notre Dame and Jack Cooley added 11 points and 11 rebounds.

The Fighting Irish are 6-1 on the season and have a showdown against number-eight Kentucky Thursday night.

Tipoff from the Joyce Center is at 7:00.
