Pacers Hold Off Wizards, 96-89

Last updated on Tuesday, November 20, 2012

(Washington DC) - David West scored 13 of his season high 30 points in the fourth period as the Indiana Pacers held off the Washington Wizards, 96-to-89 at Verizon Center.

The Pacers sent Washington to a franchise worst 0-and-9 record by closing out the game with a 10-to-4 run keyed by West and Roy Hibbert, who shook-off an underwhelming start to the regular season campaign with twenty points and fourteen rebounds.

The Wizards were unable to capitalize on Indiana's 20 turnovers and continue to struggle on the boards without starting center Nene, who will miss another three weeks with an injury to his foot.

The Pacers are 5-and-7 and host the 3-and-5 New Orleans Hornets Wednesday night. Tipoff from Bankers Life Fieldhouse is at 7:00.
