Moala To Miss Remainder Of Season With Torn ACL

Last updated on Tuesday, November 27, 2012

(Indianapolis, IN) - Indianapolis Colts Interim Head Coach Bruce Arians announced yesterday that defensive end Fili Moala is out for the rest of-the-season with a torn ACL.

The Colts second round pick in 2009 will be placed on injured reserve after sustaining a knee injury during Sunday's 20-13 win over the Buffalo Bills.

Arians said the team should have tight end Coby Fleener and corner Vontae Davis available to play against the 4-7 Detroit Lions Sunday.

Fleener has missed four games with a shoulder injury and Davis has also missed four games with an injured knee.

The Colts are 7-4 and have the inside track on the top wildcard spot in the AFC.

Kickoff Sunday at Ford Field is at 1:00.
