Luck Sets Rookie Record As Colts Edge Dolphins

(Indianapolis, IN) - Andrew Luck threw for the most passing yards ever by a rookie quarterback during the Indianapolis Colts 23-20 win over the Miami Dolphins at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Luck had 433 yards in the air, breaking Cam Newton's one year old record by ten yards.

Luck also tied the rookie record for most 300 yard passing games in a season at four, a mark set by Peyton Manning in 1998, and had a pair of 100 yard receivers in Hilton and Donnie Avery.

Colts head coach Chuck Pagano was in attended a game for the first time since being diagnosed with Leukemia, and spoke with the team before taking residence in the coaching box five minutes before the game.

The Dolphins are 4-4 and host the Tennessee Titans Sunday.

The 5-3 Colts have a short week before traveling to 1-7 Jacksonville for Thursday Night Football.
