(Brooklyn, NY) In college basketball, the Indiana Hoosiers advanced to the championship game of the Legends Classic with a 66-to-53 win over the Georgia Bulldogs at the Barclays Center.
Indiana trailed by one at halftime but took control of the game midway through the second half on threes by Christian Watford and Jordy Hulls.
The top-ranked Hoosiers missed 11 of their first 12 three-point-attempts, but Watford ended the drought with ten minutes left in the game by hitting a three pointer that gave the 4-and-0 Hoosiers a 45-to-40 advantage.
Victor Oladipo led all scorers with 15 points and eight rebounds, Watford and Hulls each finished with 14.
The Hoosiers will face the Georgetown Hoyas tonight, who beat number-11 UCLA 78-to-70 to advance to the championship game. Tipoff in Brooklyn is at 10:00pm. You can hear all of the action on Super Oldies 105.5 starting with pre-game coverage at 9:00pm.
